An Inventory provides the evidence of the condition of the property at the beginning of the tenancy and is vital in the event of a dispute.

It is imperative that every Inventory is fully updated and reprinted for the commencement of each tenancy.

On the day appointed for the preparation of the Inventory, the clerk will collect the property keys and attend the property which should be empty (except for furnishings included in the let) and in the condition in which it is due to be let.

The clerk will digitally dictate the Inventory. This will include everything from walls, floor coverings and light switches, to gardens, furnishings and appliances etc. This dictation is then e-mailed to our office and transcribed by our team of trained typists.

The Inventory can then be e-mailed in PDF format to the agent, or alternatively, held on file by us until the Check In.

Whether viewed by the Landlord, Tenant, Agent or Adjudicator, a Peppermint inventory will provide a correct, detailed and unbiased report.
